I think I’ll be missing today’s inktober drawing. I’ve still got my migraine and I’m not feeling up to it.
So I thought I’d share a couple of things I’ve been working on over the weekend.
First up, my first ever virus shawl. I’ve been wanting to make one for ages and I’ve finally started it.
Plus here is a little pom pom penguin decoration. Not exactly how I wanted it but hopefully they’ll improve if I make some more

Thank you. I guess it’s virus because it kind of reproduces each time? I agree though it’s not the nicest name. The penguin is quite cute but I think I need to invest in smaller beads for the eyes if I make more

Oh thanks. I think the example I copied looked cuter… But that’s the danger of comparison… He is cute in his own right!

Oops sorry I see this question has already been asked…hm yes, it’s a rather unfortunate name. I thought maybe you wrapped it round your nose and mouth to avoid catching a virus!!!

Lol…. Maybe that would work, though the yarn I’m using is so fine it probably wouldn’t stop any germs 😂
